Snowy woods Details
This lovely All white Winter flower arrangement reminds me a walk in a Snowy Woods which made me think of the Robert Frost poem I learned in grade school "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". The absolute simplicity of this floral arrangement is what appeal to me most...pine, cedar, and Douglas fir in a green metallic vase with a rustic bark tags.
Some of our favorite flowers for this Winter floral arrangement are peonies, roses, ranunculus, veronica, and hydrangea. This flower arrangement would be perfect for the corner of a desk or a kitchen counter.
Here is the Robert Frost poem for your enjoyment.
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sounds the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
