Charitable Blooms- Falls Cancer Club
We reinstated our Charitable Blooms program this month. Here’s how it works…..Each month we will partner with our sister store Acorn & Evergreen Floral Studio of Kent to support a local charity in our communities. Each month we will create a new flower arrangement named “Charitable Blooms”. Our talented florists will create seasonally inspired flower arrangements for each of the charities that we are supporting. We are donating 30% of all sales of that particular arrangement to the Charity of the Month.
We also have created a special add-on at checkout to support The Falls Cancer Club just in case you aren’t crazy about the flower arrangement we created for them. LOL. Or you just have an amazingly big heart and want to donate more.
Now Get to know the Falls Cancer Club:
Falls Cancer Club is a local, non-profit organization run by volunteers for more than 70 years. Their mission is to help cancer patients who live in Cuyahoga Falls. These caring volunteers through their fundraising efforts provide financial help with doctor bills, prescription medications, hospital bills, medical equipment and lab fees.
At this time Falls Cancer Club has 76 active members and is assisting 78 patients. They have a system in place to maintain a patient’s anonymity. Potential patients are referred by doctors, visiting nurses, clergy, and social workers as well as family and friends.
